But I was in the US from 79 to 87, and I can testify that going to the Harlem was not quite safe for a white-skinned person; going to the South Bronx even more so; and that independently of the person's color, when I got lost on a road in New Jersey, an attempt to ask for directions from another car's driver would end in the windows raised, door locked and the car departing. Not in all parts of New Jersey, evidently. In France, before any islamic radicalization, there were and there still are firearm clashes in Marselles. The police can't cope with the gangs. This has been the situation in some areas all over the world, except, possibly, in quiet Scandinavian countries or in Switzerland. Therefore, the message Trump want to convey is false. I may not approve the motion for denying him entry, but I do approve the existence of that petition as a symbolic means to measure the attitude of British citizens towards Trump's ideas.
