1) нет, вроде не в ваш. Вас таких очень много, и другие так легко не сдадутся!
2) у меня тоже старенький и тоже дико тормозит (а антивируса ничего не находят), но как раз почему-то торовский файрфокс лучше работает, чем обычный.
